Getting to the Symposium
Lynx Light Rail
The LYNX Blue Line operates to UNC Charlotte and offers 2 stops on campus – J.W. Clay BLVD. / UNC Charlotte and UNC Charlotte Main. If you choose the J.W. Clay stop, you will need to cross the street and take the designated Cybersecurity Symposium shuttle bus from the CRI Deck to the Cone Center. If you choose the UNC Charlotte Main stop, you can either take a short walk across campus to the Cone Center or utilize a campus shuttle. A round trip ticket on the LYNX Light Rail is $4.40 and can be purchased at the station. Parking for the Cybersecurity Symposium will be at the CRI Deck. Shuttles will be available to transport you to the Cone University Center for the event. Following are directions to the CRI Parking Deck as well as a link to a campus map.
Exit I-85 at Exit 45A, (Harris Blvd.), merge onto Harris Blvd. Turn left onto Tryon St. (Hwy. 29). Turn right on J.W. Clay Blvd.; turn left onto Robert D. Snyder Rd., take right into the first or second entrance into the CRI Deck parking deck.
From Interstate 77
Exit 18 (Harris Blvd.), merge onto Harris Blvd. Turn left onto Tryon St. (Hwy. 29). Turn right on J.W. Clay Blvd.; turn left onto Robert D. Snyder Rd., take right into the first or second entrance into the CRI Deck parking deck.
From Interstate 485
Exit for Tryon St. (Hwy. 29) exit toward Charlotte; left at the fourth traffic light (J.W. Clay Blvd.) into campus. Turn left onto Robert D. Snyder Rd., take right into the first or second entrance into the CRI Deck parking deck.
Once you have parked your car, proceed to the circle in front of the CRI deck for transportation to the Cone University Center. Cybersecurity Symposium shuttles will have the Cybersecurity logo in the front window of the bus. You will receive a parking voucher at registration.
Shuttles will run continuously all day between the CRI Deck and the Cone Center. Following are the hours, pick up and drop off locations. Staff will be on hand to direct you to the appropriate vehicle. You are also welcome to utilize the university shuttle, but keep in mind it makes multiple stops and does not go directly to Cone.

Any ADA attendees or individuals who have difficulty walking can call 704-687-5636 and one of our Para Transits will help to transport.
Upon arrival at the Cone University Center, proceed to the registration area located outside of McKnight Auditorium on the third floor. You will receive your name badge and meeting materials when you check in.
Meals & Breaks
Continental Breakfast, Lunch, AM and PM Breaks will be available throughout the day. Breakfast and breaks will be served in the Lucas Room. Lunch will be served in the Student Activity Center (SAC). Please refer to the agenda for specific times.
If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free or any others, please see an attendant for your needs to be accommodated.
Instructions for Accessing the Guide
Be sure to stop by the exhibit hall located in the Lucas room to meet our sponsors. Exhibits will be available between 7 am and 3:30 pm. Breakfast and breaks are available in the exhibit hall. In addition to our corporate sponsors, be sure to watch the Cyber Hunting competition in action.
All industry participants are eligible for the raffle. Deposit your business card in the raffle bowl at registration for your chance to win. Be sure to bring extra business cards since some exhibitors may also be hosting a raffle separate from the Cybersecurity Symposium.
Photography / Recording
All conference presentations are the property of the presenter, exhibitor and / or the College of Computing and Informatics. Recording or photographing presentations or materials is strictly prohibited.
Presentations will be available after the conference if the presenter, exhibitor or CCI member has given the College of Computing and Informatics consent to upload their presentation for attendees to view.
Smoking is prohibited inside all UNC Charlotte buildings. Designated smoking areas are available outside. The closest smoking area to the symposium is the Cone Patio.
