Abstract: How to build a Cloud Security strategy focused on delivering safety and soundness to the business through controlled environments, policies, procedures and automated controls that protect data and assets at all layers, while continuing to deliver capabilities that address business requirements. A discussion on how to secure data and applications in the public cloud, focusing on controls, automation, and operating models.

Nick Mistry is as a Senior Vice President in the Enterprise Information Security organization at Wells Fargo leading the enterprise cloud security strategy. Nick drives business results using cutting edge technologies and provides successful cloud security transformation solutions to all major line of businesses.

Nick possesses over 20 years of experience in the development and implementation of new and emerging technology solutions that address complex challenges faced by governments and multi-national corporations.
Most recently, Nick served as the Sr. Director of Product Management, Security Cloud at Symantec where he implemented an enterprise security cloud platform –launching a suite of services and establishing an integrated partner ecosystem focused on delivering cloud-based enterprise security solutions. Additionally, at Symantec, he oversaw and managed the global security certifications program.
Previously, Nick served as Vice President at eGlobalTech where he managed the cloud computing and cyber security consulting services, focused on the Federal Government market. Nick worked directly with the US Federal CIO and Federal CIO Council Agencies in major IT transformation initiatives including the Federal Cloud Computing Initiative (FCCI), Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI), and the design and implementation of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) – the US Government’s cloud security authorization program.
Additionally, he served as a Senior Executive (Partner) at Accenture, within the Communications and High Tech business unit. At Accenture he led the design and implementation of OSS/BSS and security solutions for global telecommunications and information service providers.
Nick was recognized with the Ken Ernst Innovators Award in 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.
