Joseph Adams is the Director of Cyber Defense Operations for Duke Energy. He is responsible for the Cybersecurity Operations Center, Cyber Systems Engineering / Support team, and Cyber defense solutions.
Joseph has held a variety of IT and Cybersecurity during his tenure with Duke Energy. Prior to joining Duke Energy Joseph held IT roles at Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas HealthCare System).
Joseph is a member of Infragard, ISACA, ISC^2 and other industry related organizations.
Joseph graduated from UNC Charlotte with degrees in Computer Science and an MBA. He lives in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
