Bio: Amy Braswell is the Chief Information Security Officer at TIAA Bank. In this role, Amy and her team are responsible for all aspects of information and cyber security. Her team manages security operations, identity and access management, security architecture, data protection, vulnerability management, risk assessments, and awareness programs.

Previously, Amy worked for Wells Fargo leading Information and Cyber Security Control. In this role, she oversaw the first line of defense risk management team for Information and Cyber Security. She also managed enterprise information security policies, risk assessments, implementation of enterprise governance routines, and ensured daily operations align with strong risk management practices.

In other roles, Amy worked for Bank of America in information security, risk management, compliance, and consumer business roles for 20 years. There she served as the governance, risk and compliance executive for Global Information Security, leading a global team of more than 100. She implemented risk management practices across the technology organization, managed data loss prevention and insider threat programs, and provided operational risk guidance for the consumer business. She also co-taught a graduate course in computer forensics at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from North Carolina State University. She also holds the certified information systems security professional (CISSP). Amy is based in Charlotte.
